On the road again...
So we started the day from Prince George, BC with the goal to end the day at another Prince - Prince Rupert, BC. It was another early start. We started out Canadian style with breakfast at Tim Hortons. Good stuff. The day started out clear and beautiful. It was cold - about 26. It was flat and looked much like northern Minnesota - it felt like home - except for the occasional hill that was a bit high for MN.
After lunch the scenery started changing...along with the weather.
Jared these are for you!
The last part of the drive from Terrace, BC to Prince Rupert, I suggest everyone who wants to see the most amazing beauty ever, should drive this stretch. Even with crummy weather and rain - we can only imagine how much more spectacular that drive would have been. There were snow covered mountains everywhere. We could see glimpses of them that the camera would never pick up. We can only imagine how amazing it really was. For now, this will have to do.
Well I had better get to bed, I have to get up at 3:30am to get to the ferry to load and head to Ketchikan. Stay tuned, day three coming soon!
