Alaska Adventure Day 1

So we got started about 7:20am this morning. My friends Dennis and Tracey are going with me - which I am so thankful for. My dad is in radiation, so my parents were unable to make the trip with me. So grateful for good friends! We drove up through Washington and crossed the border by Abbotsford, BC. It was a smooth border crossing and we were on our way. We had great weather once we left Oregon. Blue skies with puffy clouds. Beautiful fall colors and then the mountains kept getting closer. It was a beautiful drive!!

And of course there has to be road construction and bad weather to slow you down...


All in all it was a great day of travel. We hit a little snow that lasted about 10 minutes - but just enough to make us want to get out the Christmas music. We pulled into Prince George for the night. Myron is giving a happy hello. He is so happy to be out of his cramped kennel.
