- It all started in 1981 with a great life in Minnesota enjoying cold, snowy winters and hot summers. It was a wonderful life as a kid and yet we must all grow up. I found myself in college which led to a connection to an opportunity to move to Oregon and then Alaska and now I find myself married and a mother! Life doesn't always turn out how we picture it, instead it is BETTER!
Adoption Timeline
- 12.15.10 - Application sent to DOVE Adoptions
- 1.11.11 - Accepted into the DOVE Ethiopia program!
- 1.18.11 - Started Home Study Application
- 2.15.11 - Completed Home Study Application sent off
- 3.19.11 - First Home Study Interview
- 3.26.11 - Second Home Study Interview
- 6.2.11 - Completed Home Study!
- 6.7.11 - Sent off form I-600a/Biometrics Appointment
- 8.3.11 - Biometrics appt. in Anchorage
- 8.14.11 - Adoption put on hold to get married - to be resumed ASAP
